A few weekends ago, I hosted my annual Grateful for Girlfriends Friendsgiving. It’s a night I look forward to every year—a chance to pour back into the women who have been pouring into me for over 20 years. It’s complete with holiday-inspired decor, intentional gifts, amazing food, and time together. What more could a girl ask for?
Here are all the details to help you host your own girls’ night this holiday season:

Intentional Decorations
When the girls walked in, the first thing they noticed was how personal everything felt. The balloon display added a fun pop of color, and I had old photos of us posted on the cabinets—little snapshots of our friendship over the years. A Polaroid station sat in the corner so we could add new memories, and the gratitude grab and gift bags were set out in the main room, ready for everyone to enjoy. It all came together in a way that felt thoughtful but still really simple.

Thoughtful Gifts
For gifts, I kept things pretty simple. Each bag had a few basics that everyone received, and then I added one or two intentional items that were personal to each friend. It was fun watching them open their bags and notice the little things picked just for them—it made the night feel even more meaningful.

The Vibe & Flow of the Night
I served two cocktails for the night—Auntie’s Glam-a-Rita and the Gratitude Glowdrop—and we snacked on charcuterie in martini glasses. After some time catching up, we moved into the living room to open presents and settle in for the rest of the night.

Here are the recipes for both cocktails:
- 3 cups of blanco tequila
- 1 ½ cup of cranberry juice
- 1 ¼ cup of orange liqueur
- 1 ¼ cup of fresh lime juice
- ¾ cup of agave
- Add 1 cup of water to dilute if needed
- Garnish with lime and cranberries
- Stir and serve chilled with sugar rimmed glasses
- 3 cups of Vodka
- ¾ cup of cranberry simple syrup*
- 1 cup lemon juice
- 1 ½ cups of cranberry juice
- Add 1 cup of water to dilute if needed and/or add more cranberry juice
- Garnish with lemon and cranberries
- Stir and serve chilled with sugar rimmed glasses
*Cranberry Simple Syrup is so simple to make! Boil 1 part cranberries, 1 part white sugar and 1 part water. Strain and let cool. Homemade cranberry simple syrup will keep for about a month in the refrigerator when stored in a clean, airtight container
Hosting this “Grateful for Girlfriends” night reminded me how little it takes to make time together feel special. I hope this recap inspires you to pull together your own holiday girls’ night—simple, fun, and full of good energy.
