Ok, today you will literally get the easiest project tutorial in the history of all of my content, a super easy DIY holiday card display ledge . This idea came to me because with the influx of holiday cards, I wanted to find a way to display them. Having a garage full of scrap wood pays off in a major way when you need a quick and easy project to put together. If you’ve been around, then you know that DIY photo ledges or display ledges are my thing.
For this project, I started by grabbing a piece of plywood that I already had in the garage. I didn’t even bother cutting it to a different size.
I then grabbed a couple of pieces of unfinished ledge molding pieces, a small wooden dowel, and my Krazy Glue Fast Dry Wood Glue.
I cut the ledge piece to the width of the plywood piece, then cut the dowel to the width of the ledge piece. I eyeballed the width between each shelf based on what worked for me. I encourage you to do the same.
Once I applied the pieces, I let it dry a few minutes ad grabbed stain color that I had on hand, which was a gray color. That’s it! You’ve made a super easy DIY holiday card display ledge!
