Happy October guys! Well, it’s official. Fall is in full swing. To be honest, my favorite season is Summer hands down, but I always love the cooler weather that Fall brings here in Georgia. I would be lying if I didn’t acknowledge how brutal Summers can be here, but I still love the casual and relaxed vibe of Summer. One thing I love about Fall is wearing my favorite leopard fall flats and cute leather jackets. While the weather has just began to cool down here, I was able to add some simple Fall front porch decor additions.
My budget was $100, so I am happy that I was able to usher in the season on a budget. Plus, I typically only decorate at a minimum seasonally, so adding a few simple touches was right up my simple, seasonal decor loving alley. This is a lesson that simple Fall front porch decor does not have to break the bank!
To start, I removed my original summer rug and added this cute Hey There Pumpkin rug. I love how it says “yeah Fall is here,” without being overly theme-y. I layered it with a slightly larger plaid black and white rug, which add a nice pop to the standard outdoor rug.
Nothing says Fall like Mums. Adding these pretty tangerine colored mums to my black planters that I bought earlier this Spring was a no-brainer. I love this planters so much, and I love the way the way the orange mums compliment the traditional brick color of my home.
To add a little more, but still keep it simple, I added these really pretty black lanterns with a beautiful gold handle on both side of the door. I love the extra layer of texture and design they add, all while keeping the look simple.
Another thing we changed out this season was our dated front porch light fixtures. We opted for these because they were more modern and sleek. I ABSOLUTELY love these fixtures and the price for both is an absolute steal. They are LED and have a dusk to dawn sensor, which means that I no longer need to flip the switch at the first sign of darkness. The sensor recognizes the light change and pops on right away. I absolutely love the glow that the lights give at night.
The simple Fall Magnolia wreath adds a nice layer of greenery to the space, without being too themed. I thought about dressing it up with a few more Fall florals, but I think the simple greenery is my style, so I will leave it the way it is.
I hope that you enjoyed taking a tour of my simple Fall porch.
