Just like everyone else across the world, I’ve been spending way more time at home than I ever have in the past. Now throw in the curveball of virtual learning, and you’ve got someone who needs more help managing it all. Anything that I can add to my home to make life easier, sign me up! Recently, I added several ecobee devices to my home to create my very own ecobee Haven and to make my home life simpler with ecobee. The ecobee Home Security Bundle which includes the all new ecobee Home Security Bundle which includes the all new ecobee SmartCamera with voice control, SmartSensor, and SmartSensor for doors and windows. Virtual learning over these last couple of months have been….interesting to say the least:) Since building DIY Ladder Desk in his bedroom, I can’t keep my eye on my son during school hours as much as I would like without being a distraction by popping in and out of the room. My ecobee SmartCamera has been a lifesaver because now I am able to keep track of everything he is doing during class and outside of class by “popping” in to his room at anytime through the ecobee app from my smartphone.
The ecobee SmartCamera has 1080p video, speakers, and a microphone, which makes it so that I can communicate with my son directly though the camera throughout the day. I also have the option of adding additional cameras, or moving this camera to another room based on my need. I opted not to mount it, although that option is available if needed.
With the SmartSensor, I am able to see if my son leaves his room during times that he is supposed to be in class. Having these two security features, I am able to keep track of everything going on throughout the day, even if I am not home.

The weather is officially changing in the Atlanta area, but not all the way. It’s cooler in the morning, warm in the afternoon, and cooler at night. With the changes in temperature comes fluctuating indoor temperatures as well. With my older thermostat, I had to constantly change the temperature based on how it felt during a particular part of the day. That was definitely a pain, but I did what I had to do because I hello! I am always cold:)
. I recently upgraded my thermostat to the ecobee SmartThermostat and managing fluctuating temperatures throughout the day are a thing of the past.
I love that the SmartThermostat has so many customizable options and it is easy to control directly from my ecobee app. It’s the perfect fit for my family’s busy lifestyle.
It was super easy to install and the screen is ultra responsive! I installed it myself in under an hour using the handy step-by-step instructions on the ecobee app. Plus, as with everything else, I love the fact that it has such a sleek aesthetic.
Plus if you are like me, finding ways to reduce my family’s carbon footprint is a priority. The ecobee SmartThermostat is engineered for advanced energy savings and Energy Star Certified, so its way more efficient than a traditional thermostat which in turn equals lower energy bills too!
Since spending more time at home, simple updates can make all the difference. Something as simple as switching out the Thermostat added a nice touch to something that may be otherwise over looked and its such a budget-friendly, easy, upgrade. You can get the ecobee SmartThermostat with voice control with one ecobee SmartSensor in the box for $249 from ecobee.com or through select retail partners including Amazon, Lowes, Home Depot, and Best Buy. Add comfort and security to any room with SmartSensor two packs for $79. Intergrates seamlessly with the ecobee SmartCamera for $179.
I am in love the entire line of ecobee products and are even happier with how they’ve simplified things in my life.
Thanks for stopping by. Until next time!
