My son turned six earlier this year and I haven’t made any updates to his bedroom for the last couple of years. Overall, I’m really happy with his space as it is, but I always like to incorporate a few changes to keep a space feeling fresh. Just like anything, when making a young boys bedroom update, you have to incorporate all of the things that make them happy, but in a way that still looks good.
When Photowall reached out to me to see if I would be interested in collaborating by updating his space !
with a few pieces of my choice to add to his space, my answer was yes!
Using their online ordering tool was easy and they offer a wide selection of posters that you can purchase with just the hanging rods or you can opt to have your poster framed. Each hanging rod comes with a leather style hanging string and a gold nail to put in the wall. Such a nice touch.
Before making any updates to his old gallery wall, As I mentioned before with a young boys bedroom update, I made sure that I double-checked with him to see what he wanted to keep and what could go. He said to keep all his animal stuff and photos that looked like him. Love that he see’s himself represented in his artwork.
These Photowall images add the perfect touch to his updated wall. For his wall, I added the Watercolor Deer Print , Forest Friends, and the Shapely Poster.
I also added a little reading bench to his window and a New Jersey comforter. I love the washed vintage feel and how soft it is.
Love this look? Check out everything that I purchased for this room:
Can’t you tell that Juju is a fan of all his updates! He couldn’t even stay still for the picture.:)
Photowall was gracious enough to offer 25% off to my readers by using code liveprettyonapenny25. The code is good for the next 30 days so act soon!
What do you think of his updates?
Thanks so much for stopping by. Until next time!
Love this updated room! Always looking for ideas for my little guys space. I like how the gallery wall represents all things he loves and love the touch of the reading bench as well. Thanks for the inspiration!
