How We Installed our Organized Living freedomRail Closet System

As promised, I wanted to drop back in and show how simple it was for us to take our closet from dark and drab to bright and fab using the freedomRail system from Organized Living.

What we love most about the freedomRail system from Organized Living is the flexibility and durability of this system. Plus, it was pretty easy to install. You simply enter all of your measurements and simulate your closet layout using this online design tool.

Your order can be placed based on the measurements that you enter into the design tool.

We started by removing all of the old wire shelving. I didn’t bother covering the holes that were there after removing the shelving. I covered it with this wallpaper from Overstock.

I installed it using this tutorial. 

A few days after wallpaper installation, we received a shipment of boxes containing our closet contents. There were a ton of boxes, but all labeled based on what the were to be used for.

Here are the steps we completed to makeover our closet.

After installing the freedomRail system, I decided to remove the old carpet and install a premium laminate. This was my first time installing laminate flooring, but it definitely upgraded the space.

I would highly recommend this system, as it was easy to install, gives the idea of custom without the price tag.

We are in love with how our closet turned out and looking forward to enjoying it for years to come.
