Are you looking for an easy family-friendly Halloween Costume idea? This Family Run DMC Halloween Costume Photoshoot is perfect for you!
What’s not to love about Fall? Pumpkin patches, cozy sweater weather (finally), fuzzy socks, fireplaces, leaves changing (even though I get way too many leaves on the ground around my house), and of course ….my absolute favorite holiday…Halloween! What is there not to love about Halloween. I love visiting haunted houses, the influx of scary movies on tv, and all the spooky things that happen during this time of year. Call me crazy:) My most favorite thing is dressing up for Halloween, which led me to our Family Run DMC Halloween Costume Photoshoot this year.
Ever since my son was born, it has been a dream of mine for our family to be the legendary Run DMC for Halloween. Well, this year, my dream came true. The Marshall’s transformed into the legendary Reverend Run, Jam Master Jay and DMC in our first ever epic photoshoot. You can check our Run DMC Themed Halloween Costume Shoot below and let me know what you think!
Of course the outfits played a key role in the entire shoot. I didn’t want anything plastic or too fake looking. I wanted a real boombox radio, chains, and everything. It had to feel authentic for me!
This one is one of my favorites. Check out Juju as the legendary DMC, then see DMC’s original photo after it. Nailed it! The glasses were key to the entire look. Along with the infamous Raiders patch.
Of course the outfits played a key role in the entire shoot, especially the classic Shell Toe Adidas. I didn’t want anything plastic or too fake looking. I wanted a real boombox radio, gold chains, and everything. It had to feel authentic for me!
It was hard to keep Juju in character at times because he is naturally a silly kid.
We rocked it right? Now, I have this urge to come up with really good costume ideas every year, and I already pondering costumes for 2020!
So what do you think of our shoot? Do you like to dress up for Halloween, or have you ever done a Halloween photo shoot as a family?
Thanks so much for stopping by. Until next time!
Pssst! Don’t forget to PIN for later!
