Hi guys! Long time no see. After finishing up the guest bathroom makeover, I literally had to take a mental break. I didn’t even want to think about another project during April, but outside of projects, I had a pretty busy month of April. One of the highlights was being a speaker at this years Pinners Conference in Atlanta.
I taught a class on “Staining, Painting, and Styling: How to Update and Re-Love the Items in Your Home,” and to my surprise, my class registration was sold out!
It was such an awesome experience. I got to share my tidbits of knowledge to a room of around 150 ladies. and the best part is that they were so engaged and asked awesome questions! I plan to break down my slide show from my presentation into various blog posts over the next few weeks, so that I am able to share with you all everything that I talked about in my presentation.
At the end of my presentation, I gave away a few goodies which of course was a hit! The basket with all of the Purdy essentials was directly sponsored by Purdy, which is literally my favorite paint brush brand!
I also gave away a goodie basket full of staining favs.
I even got to meet my blogging friend Nicole from She Does a Bunch. Nicole spoke about party planning tablescapes. Her talent is undeniable and she has totally inspired me to tackle a party with pretty décor:)
So what do you think? Ideally, I would love to do more speaking engagements and panel discussions in relation to my love of home décor and blogging, so hopefully more opportunities present themselves.
If you are a new subscriber, thanks for signing up!
Thanks for stopping by. Until next time!
FANTASTIC! I'm so happy for you. Hopefully when Pinners comes to Dallas again, I will be able to participate.
Thanks so much! Hopefully they make their way back to Dallas soon!
